Bob Rodriguez, Contemporary Jazz Piano.

Bob Pettegrew, Traditional Swing/Stride Piano.

  • Studied with contemporary pianist Tommy Taylor in New York, Eugene Uman and Harvey Diamond at the Vermont Jazz Center, and with the late Tom Gallant, contemporary/jazz pianist and Music Department Chair at Exeter Academy, Exeter, NH.
  • Involved in solo performances, vocal accompaniment and small combo groups around New England.
  • Teaches piano (including chordal structure/theory) in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. His playing reflects the stride-base style of the ’30s and ’40s a-la Teddy Wilson.
  • Management Consultant and voice-over artist, who records commercials for TV and radio – as well as educational, training and industrial DVDs.
